Collaborate Boston is an incentive-driven competition that supports collaborative efforts to create thriving people and vibrant places in our community. Each year, the Boston Foundation makes $100,000 in grants to collaborations focused on achieving specific outcomes for the people and/or the places that make up our community. The outcomes are announced at the start of each competition. In 2017 the Foundation will make five, $20,000 grants to intergenerational collaborations that are focused on tackling long-standing problems in Boston.
If you would like to be considered for a Collaborate Boston prize, please work with your collaboration partners to complete and submit this application form by 11:59pm on December 14, 2017. A cross-sector advisory committee of grassroots leaders will review all applications during December and January and applicants will be notified by January 10th, 2018 of the committee’s decision. A select number of collaborations will be advanced to the final round, which will include interviews in mid-February. Winners will be selected by March 16, 2018.
